Experience: New Life Church
New Life Church is a multiethnic, multisite, missional church in Hampton Roads, Virginia, hoping to reach every person with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When producing content and media for the church’s services, websites, and social media, we brought the church into modern communication methods to bridge the disconnect between the older and younger generations.
Laying the groundwork for a creative foundation, New Life continues to use most of our strategies and project templates and has replicated them for all its campuses.
Role
I developed the re-brand, copy, and media alongside the creative director and launched their online content and in-house printed publications. I contributed art direction (look & feel), SEO, editing/posting support, and a content schedule for New Life's WordPress and social media platforms. As co-leader for many of these initiatives, I managed internal media relations for staff and board members across four campuses that hosted numerous groups and events.
